The “accelerated 2-day workshop” will be held in Palo Alto, California and focus primarily on exploring the inner workings of Bitcoin and the Blockchain.
Teaching will be delivered exclusively by BitGo software engineer Mason Borda and 21’s Justin O’Brien.
According to a release outlining the event, it will offer “a comprehensive introduction to Bitcoin concepts and the inner workings of the Bitcoin protocol,” which will be delivered via “a combination of theory and practical exercises using the latest Python libraries to interact with the Bitcoin network and the Blockchain.”
The target audience is technical. Computer science students, software engineers and data scientists looking to expand their knowledge of Bitcoin are those mostly invited to attend.
With attendance fees set at $200-$300, the course ranks in the lower echelon for Bitcoin conference-type events. Organizers will even offer dissatisfied customers a money-back guarantee after the weekend’s close.
