Sales and trade during U.S. brick-and-mortar stores on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday declined from final year, as Reuters reports that stores offering discounts good over a weekend and some-more business shopped online.

The National Retail Federation reports that spending per chairman over Thanksgiving Weekend this year was $289.19, down 3.4% from $299.60 in a same duration final year.

Internet sales rose in a double digits on both days, leading $3 billion for a initial time on Black Friday, according to information expelled on Saturday.
