Litecoin Video: How to install both Bitcoin and Litecoin on Linux (Mint and Ubuntu)

Litecoin Video, Litecoin Clip, LTC Video, Litecoin Movie – WARNING: This tutorial is for the Mint and Ubuntu distros only. If you have a different distro such as Fedora or Gentoo the commands might be different.
Bitcoin Install
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bitcoin-qt
Litecoin Install
Download package
Extract folder
Drop Litecoin folder in Home directory/folder
Rename to “Litecoin” (optional)
Litecoin Entry *since the video creation, the src folder along with the prepacked pics have been removed, thus you will need to find/download a Litecoin pic yourself*
Create Litecoin entry in Menu (right click Menu, click “Edit Menu”)
Click on “Office”
Click the “New Item” button
Command: Click browse, click Home folder (will be your username), click “Litecoin”, click “bin”, click “64” if you’re 64-bit (click “32” if you’re 32-bit), click “litecoin-qt”
Icon: Click the icon area, click Home folder (will be your username), click “Litecoin”, click “src”, click “share”, click “pixmaps”, click “”
