Democratic POTUS hopeful Andrew Yang may have an uphill battle ahead. But as Binance’s Changpeng Zhao (CZ) pointed out, that doesn’t make him any less of a ‘hustler.’

Andrew Yang Gets the Bitcoiner Vote

While it’s unlikely that outsider Andrew Yang will win the race for POTUS next year, his pro-stance on Bitcoin and blockchain definitely wins the crypto community’s vote.

Universal basic income doesn’t seem to weave quite right into the tapestry of a culture savagely proud of its American dream. The land was made up rags-to-riches stories forged by immigrants who pulled themselves up by their bootstraps.

There may not be too many people in favor of Yang’s “socialist” policies or “not left, not right, forward” campaign. Some mainstream news outlets like CNN have disregarded him completely:

On top of that, he’s also got a lot of competition. Currently, there are 19 Democrats running for the 2020 election and four Republicans (if one of those isn’t impeached).

But even if his chances at taking the top job are slimmer than the SEC approving a Bitcoin ETF this year, you have to give him kudos anyway.

He Follows CZ Binance on Twitter

If Yang wasn’t already grabbing the hearts and minds of the Bitcoin community, he’ll probably scoop up a few more votes now.

As CZ points out, should he win, that would mean we’d have a U.S. president following a crypto guy on Twitter:

Just saying, pretty cool, right?

He also points out that “it’s a whole new world.”

Indeed, it is. Finally, Bitcoin, blockchain , and other emerging technologies are sparking debates at the highest level.

Andrew Yang may be a rank outsider, but he’s helping to spread the word–and you have to give him some respect for that. To steal the words of CZ, he is, quite definitely, something of a ‘hustler.’
