Binance Adds ARK to its List of Supported Cryptocurrencies

Binance – a global leader in blockchain assets and a top 10 international cryptocurrency exchange by volume, has announced the addition of ARK to their growing list of supported tokens. With the addition of ARK, Binance continues to stay at the forefront of the industry and provide customers with a diverse selection of tradeable assets.

Binance became the first major Chinese market to trade the ARK token and provides a major opportunity for international growth to a blockchain project that has already shown considerable popularity in recent months. According to ICOStats.com, ARK is now up 25,782% from the price of the Token Exchange Campaign (TEC), making it the 7th most profitable blockchain token to date with a $250 million dollar market capitalization.

ARK Founding Board Member, Travis Walker, had this to say about the announcement, “ARK has been looking for a strong entry point into the Chinese market and we always strive to find new partners within the industry. Working with Binance was a no-brainer. They are one of the fastest growing currency exchanges and are becoming a real powerhouse in the industry, especially for Chinese traders”.

ARK is a delegated proof-of-stake (DPOS) based blockchain focused on utilizing their custom-built SmartBridge technology to allow blockchains of all types to communicate with one another. ARK recently released their ACES project that has successfully connected Ethereum to the ARK blockchain. This technology has made it possible to execute Ethereum smart contracts from the ARK network. The current ACES release was used as a proof-of-concept to show the potential of the SmartBridge technology and was seen as a major stepping point for the ARK Ecosystem and its development.
