“Fake Satoshi Nakamoto” Craig Wright, a well known Australian computer scientist has sued the CEO at Bitcoin.com, Roger Ver to court.

Roger Ver Calls Craig Wright a Liar

Wright who claims to be the inventor of Bitcoin which is the most dominant virtual currency in the world alleged that Ver deliberately made false statements which might cause harm to his reputation.

Ver got served a lawsuit by Wright at a Bitcoin Cash summit which took place in London. He was sued for calling Wright a scammer and a liar in a video which has now been removed as it goes against set rules by the YouTube community. However, Ver has now released a copy of the video on Twitter.

When he was asked what his next line of action is after he got served, Ver said that:
“I think I’m going to put out another video calling him a fraud and a liar again. I’m not worried one bit. I’m annoyed I have to spend some money on the lawsuit rather than hire one developer to build more tools to bring more economic freedom to the world.”

He then went further to fault Wright’s approach of filing lawsuits against other crypto industry members which includes Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, What Bitcoin Did podcast host, Peter McCormack, and pseudonymous Twitter user Hodlonaut. Well, known members of the crypto community now refer to Wright as a fraud because they do not support his claim that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.

Also, Ver does not support the decision taken by many crypto exchanges including Binance to remove Bitcoin ‘Satoshi Vision” (SV), a virtual currency which was derived from Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in mid-November and is being supported by both Wright and CoinGreek’s Calvin Ayre.

He said:

“I don’t think it was a good thing. If people want to trade it, I think people should be able to trade it. Free the market, free the world. If you want to trade bitcoin SV, go for it.”
