“Due to popular demand, we will be adding @iotatoken to the Bitpanda platform on the 14th of June! #bitpanda #IOTA $IOTA”
Initially, they will offer a trade only option for IOTA. “Our Integration Team and the IOTA Foundation are working closely together in order to get a fully functional IOTA wallet, including a withdrawal and send function, running on Bitpanda soon.” Bitpanda’s official blog post stated. The Komodo wallet will also come with a ‘trade only’ option initially as they have planned to release a wallet soon.
Bitpanda also stated that they will soon make more cryptocurrencies available to its users but will use the same procedure as for Ripple, IOTA, and Komodo. Releasing a ‘trade only’ wallet first and then the fully-fledged wallet speeds up the process of adding new cryptocurrencies, according to them.
A crypto and blockchain enthusiast tweeted:
“great news! thanks @bitpanda – cant await to trade KMD on europes most solid fiat/crypto exchange! #btc #kmd #trade #bitpanda”
cbrandinho, a Redditor commented:
“That’s awesome. I sometimes used bitpanda in the past because in Germany we can use SOFORT to buy crypto via bank transfer in real time! Now even directly IOTA, that’s great.”
RandomJoe7, another Reddit user commented:
“Nice! I’ve used bitpanda in the past, and it’s great and trustworthy. Glad we’ll be able to directly buy IOTA there soon, and they offer a lot of payment methods”
