The Qtum crowdsale has been well received so far, as investors have contributed a lot of money to ensure this project gets funded in the allotted time. Even though there are still over 29 days left on the crowdsale as we speak, the team already raised US$12.2m in the first 24 hours. Quite a significant milestone and it seems this is only the beginning.

Qtum Crowdsale Is Off To A Great Start

Over the past few years, several cryptocurrency-related crowdsales have seen their fair share of success. Although some of these projects had a hard cap limiting the amount of money that could be raised, these rules heavily depend on what type of project it is. For Qtum, the goal is to reach 100% of the crowdsale within 30 days, which will be quite easy to achieve at the current pace.

To be more specific, the crowdsale has raised 38,614,031.8515 QTUM at the time of writing. This represents 75.71% of all available tokens to be sold already within the first 24 hours. It is evident there is a growing demand for this project that aims to bring the best of bitcoin and Ethereum together. At the same time, it is not surprising to both Ethereum and Bitcoin enthusiasts are pledging significant amounts of money to make this project a success.

So far, over 8,223 BTC and 63,615 ETH has been invested in Qtum. These are significant amounts of money, and the first day is still not over yet. While it was evident Qtum would see a lot of investor interest from day one, no one had expected the project to raise this much money in such a short amount of time. It is evident Qtum will easily reach their goal in the coming days, or even hours if the current rate at which money is invested continues.

Investors who are keeping a close eye on this project will have a tough decision to make. With less than a quarter of the tokens still up for grabs during the crowdsale, investing early is even more important than it was ever before. No one wants to miss out on getting their hands of Qtum tokens during this crowdsale, as their value will likely increase once the project becomes available to the masses.
