It is no surprise a lot of individuals have an outspoken opinion on Bitcoin and BCH. Calvin Ayre is one of those sites focusing on gambling news. They have also kept close tabs on cryptocurrency,  yet they clearly favor Bitcoin Cash right now. According to a new blog post, BCH is the “true remaining Bitcoin”. A pretty controversial statement, to say the very least. It will be interesting to see how this affects their company.

Most people know Calvin Ayre as a person heavily involved in gambling. His current website also focuses a lot on gambling and cryptocurrency. According to a new article, it is evident the group firmly believes in Bitcoin Cash, rather than the real Bitcoin. More specifically, in the team’s opinion, BCH is the real Bitcoin. So far, the rest of the world seems to disagree on this front, though, which shouldn’t come as a big surprise to anyone right now.

An interesting Choice by the Calvin Ayre Team

The team also discusses how the SegWit chain still has the majority of support right now. Moreover, they have “inherited” the Bitcoin name by default due to its track record. Bitcoin Cash seemingly resembles the vision of Satoshi Nakamoto more than the SegWit chain. A very controversial opinion, although they are certainly entitled to it. The market is clearly in favor of Bitcoin, though. Most people consider Bitcoin Cash an altcoin and nothing more.

Considering how BCH had to fork off Bitcoin is of keen interest to the Calvin Ayre team. Forks are inherently dangerous, but they are also necessary to introduce innovative features. The fact both chains coexist is a good outcome, as it allows people to side with one of them over the other. Calvin Ayre has made their intention very clear, even though they back a minority chain right now.

That being said, there are some things in favor of BCH right now. The milestone reached by the Gigablock testnet team, for example, shouldn’t be underestimated. Whether or not this will elevate Bitcoin Cash to new heights, remains to be seen. Bitcoin is still the world’s leading cryptocurrency, and that will not change anytime soon. It is highly doubtful BCH will ever succeed Bitcoin as there is no reason for it to do so.
