San Francisco based U.S crypto exchange Coinbase has unveiled real-time price alerts on its mobile app which will allow crypto merchants and investors to keep track of the movement of prices on their favourite digital currencies.
Price Alerts to Keep Track of Asset
The exchange said in the statement released that:
“Combined with in-app news and our informational asset pages, this feature is another step forward in making the Coinbase app the best place for you to find the information you want on crypto.”
Whenever users log in, they will receive a reminder to enable alerts and create a watchlist which will assist them in keeping track of the fluctuations in the prices of crypto.
According to the firm, automated price alerts will be available for every tradable asset on Coinbase and these functions by connecting to significant news and reviews will allow users to improve market performance.
Speaking on the new feature, a Coinbase representative stated that:
“Customers asked for real-time-price alerts natively in the Coinbase app to address the inconvenience of having to check multiple sources for crypto market information, ”
“Real-time price alerts available natively in the Coinbase app streamlines access to information that helps customers make more informed investment decisions.”
According to coinbase, this new feature will be combined with the in-app news and asset pages. Also, users have the option of opting in or out of the feature and choose which assets to track.
Coinbase has also made it known that it is looking to include price alerts for assets that are currently not tradable on its platform.
Messari and Blockfolio Partners to Offer Accurate Asset Information
In other news, crypto news, pricing and research firm Messari have forged a partnership with Blockfolio a major free Bitcoin crypto portfolio tracker app with over five million downloads. A collaboration aim at delivering more transparency and data integrity to crypto investors who depend on correct information to decide whether to buy and sell crypto assets.
