The lawsuit against Elon Musk for alleged insider trading in Dogecoin is in the billions. Now one of his lawyers is resigning.

According to information from the New York Post, Elon Musk has lost one of Tesla’s top in-house litigators.

The law firm responsible has therefore applied for permission to withdraw his lawyer in Musk’s process for alleged market manipulation of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin.

The Manhattan lawyer has been part of the team for a little less than a year and has been actively involved in a variety of lawsuits involving the Tesla CEO, it said.

Elon Musk already has a replacement for the lawyer who has left: Allision Huebert, who most recently worked for the law firm Quinn Emanuel.

Since the beginning of June, the Tesla and SpaceX boss has been in a process for possible insider trading. He is accused of manipulating the course of the memecoin Dogecoin and enriching himself.

The entrepreneur is said to have promoted the memecoin to artificially inflate the price. He then sold Dogecoin worth several million US dollars.

According to the argument, investors suffered billions in damage from his alleged price manipulations and the resulting DOGE sell-off.
