Bitcoin-advertising disappears from social networks and search engines in China.
It seems that the ban on advertising crypto currency in Facebook has served as an incentive for similar actions in China.
So, the microblogging service Weibo, the largest social network in China, no longer shows ads related to crypto-currencies.
Leading Chinese search engine Baidu on requests “Bitcoin”, “kriptovalyuta” and “ICO” shows articles, news and other information, but not paid advertising, reports South China Morning Post.
Recall, Facebook blocked advertising related to the crypto-currencies and the initial placement of coins the other day. Advertising is also prohibited in Instagram and the Audience Network. The reason for the ban is the lack of tools for identifying fraudulent ads related to crypto-currencies and ICO.
In China, Internet corporations are in even more difficult situation, since the authorities are fighting the crypto-currency industry.
