The Litecoin Foundation revealed that it will be partnering up with blockchain-based booking platform Travala.com in order to increase the efficiency of its cryptocurrency payments.
Litecoin has recently announced that it will enter a partnership with Travala.com, a top hotel booking platform which is based on blockchain technology.
Litecoin’s involvement will boost the use of cryptocurrency payments on the booking platform and will increase the overall adoption of cryptocurrency as payment systems.
The collaboration will begin with #TravelWithLitecoin campaign which will allow users to earn a 40% discount when they make a booking on Travala.com and Litecoin’s LoafWallet. LTC holders will not only be able to book their hotel accommodations by using their favorite crypto, but they will also save money while doing so.

#PayWithLitecoin and #TravelWithLitecoin are initiatives that aim to promote the use of LTC for everyday payments. Travala.com has also been selected to serve as the official accommodation partner for the Litecoin Summit which is scheduled to take place in October 2019 together with Evolv’s Vegas Blockchain Week.
Matthew Luczynski, CEO and Founder of Travala.com, said regarding the collaboration in the company’s blog post the following:

Travala.com gives users access to over 82,000 destinations in more than 210 countries and territories. in addition to LTC, it also accepts Pal, Visa, and MasterCard as payment options.
LTC founder Charlie Lee also made a comment in relation to the new partnership:
