A law was signed in the US state of Arizona, which legally anchors Smart Contracts and Blockchain signatures.
In early February it was announced that attempts are being made to record signatures that are recorded on a blockchain as well as to harmonize smart contracts with the law. In particular, their electronic format or recording should be taken into account.
The bill was signed by the Arizonian governor, Doug Ducey, on 29th March, following a law passed by Vermont last year, which also decided to recognize data on a blockchain in court.
