Crypto exchange Bitpanda has now enabled a new feature on user accounts that now allows them to use crypto to pay their bills.

Bitpanda has been operating since 2014 when it was launched in Austria, catering mostly to crypto traders from the EU region.

The company posted on its official that its exchange users are now able to pay bills via Bitpanda’s crypto platform, as well as make money transfers to the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) in the European Union. These features are enabled directly through the user’s Bitpanda account. The new service is called Bitpanda Pay.

“With Bitpanda Pay you can send money to any IBAN in the European Union directly from your Bitpanda account.”- declared the post.

According to the post, the new money transfer feature allows users to quickly and conveniently conduct transactions through any IBAN in the European Union by using an accessible interface.

Bitpanda Pay is managed by Bitpanda Payments, a subsidiary of the Bitpanda brokerage firm that is licensed by Payment Service Provider under the European Regulation PSD2.

The company revealed that they will be releasing its mobile application for iOS users in November 2019.

This year, the Viennese exchange successfully carried out its first Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) to further the release of its own token BEST and global exchange, raising a total of €43.6 million. BEST is the most successful IEO in Europe to date.

“Our goal is to establish the Bitpanda Global Exchange as the largest Euro exchange with the lowest fees for fiat-to-crypto trading in the industry. Bitpanda has been around since 2014 and holds an excellent reputation. We can build on a lot of synergies and experience,” said Bitpanda CEO Eric Demuth.

The Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST) is the native coin of the platform which gives access to many benefits and resources from within the company’s ecosystem, including trading fees and priority access to the forthcoming Bitpanda Launchpad.
