Bitcoin blockchain explorer and analytics search engine Blockchair has announced that it is now backed by Bitmain, a leading mining hardware manufacturer. The company also made its intentions to extend its support to the Ethereum blockchain known in the same announcement.

[Note: This is a press release.]

The Blockchair search and analytics engine is a supercharged blockchain explorer, giving users the ability to confirm blockchain transactions, filter blocks, outputs and check the Bitcoin blockchain. In total, it covers over 60 different criteria.

Users of the platform can also perform full-text blockchain searches, and soon a similar service will be offered for Etheruem blockchain as well. Blockchair has a roadmap that it believes will see them become the Blockchain equivalent to Google. In its next step, the company plans to create private API’s for its traders, making it possible to integrate blockchain analytics into trading algorithms. The company also enables users with the ability to batch export data from blockchains.

The in-depth analytics of the Bitcoin blockchain offered by Blockchair’s algorithm has a wide-range of applications, and it can be utilized to detect trading patterns and generate trading signals with significant accuracy.

At present many market traders base their trading on factors such as order history, buy or sell orders, and market depth. Blockchair’s API’s can help trading platforms, and cryptocurrency applications create querying, prediction, and trading signals tools within their application. Later on, Blockchair plans to set itself up as a platform similar to Bloomberg Terminal for digital assets.
