EncryptoTel ICO Is Live Now, Quickly Raises Over US$845,000

There are quite a few interesting ICO projects to be found in the cryptocurrency space right now. Their ICO has raised over US$845,000 so far, and there are still 37 days left to invest.

Using blockchain technology can certainly help in this regard, as it allows users to retain a degree of privacy. Moreover, using a blockchain allows the service to be integrated into other existing services, thanks to the project’s API. In the end, EncryptoTel aims to enable free communication within the network, which is quite an impressive goal.

To turn such a project into reality, the EncryptoTel team will need additional funding. A beta version of the platform is available for testing. This shows further investors the platform is working and offers all of the benefits one would expect. It is good to see a cryptocurrency-based ICO revolve around a platform users can get some hands-on experience with first. A working demo will always attract more investors compared to a platform that has no prototype whatsoever.

It has to be said, the EncryptoTel ICO is off to a good start. Over US$845,,000 has been raised already, with investors contributing in the form of many different cryptocurrencies. As one would expect, there is a lot of interest from bitcoin investors, who contributed over 223 BTC to date.  There is also a healthy amount of Ether, WAVES tokens, and Ethereum Classic to be found on the ICO page. It is good to see so many different cryptocurrencies being accepted and represented.

Considering how the EncryptoTel ICO still runs until May 31st, it is safe to assume the project will raise a few million dollars in the end. Initial Coin offerings have proven to be a successful recipe to raise additional funds over the past few years. EncrytpoTel will launch in 100 different countries at launch, which is quite impressive. If the team can deliver on that promise, this blockchain-based communication platform will have a bright future ahead.
