Ariel Gabizon, an engineer from the Zcash company that develops a ‘completely anonymous cryptocurrency’, will make a presentation for the first time on April 19 in Moscow. His presentation will be a part of Blockchain Bitcoin Conference Russia – an annual blockchain conference for entrepreneurs, investors and developers.
The topic of the report will be the implementation of the Zero-Knowledge Proof algorithm in the Zcash project.
A decentralized payment system based on the Zero-Knowledge Protocol (a zero-knowledge proof) was launched last autumn and caused a huge stir in the community and on the stock exchanges. The list of investors proves the seriousness of the project: among them were Barry Silbert, Vlad Zamfir and Roger Ver. In late February, the Zcash team presented the official road map of the project.
On April 19, Ariel will talk about the principle of ZKP usage for the implementation of private transactions in public blockchain.
Before joining Zcash, Ariel Gabizon gained experience in research projects at The Hebrew University, Weizmann Institute of Science and Israel Institute of Technology. The focus of his interest is the connection between theories of computational sciences and the blockchain technologies.
