Binance announced the availability of a Tether USD (USDT) pair for Nigerian traders as part of the addition of new trading pairs last week.
Stablecoins have become popular in Nigeria due to the decrease in the value of the naira (NGN). This led to traders requesting for the USDT/NGN pair just like the recently added ETH/NGN pair.
This new pair takes the naira trading pairs on Binance to five. Now, there are direct naira (NGN) pairs for trading bitcoin (BTC), binance coin (BNB), binance USD (BUSD), ethereum (ETH), and Tether USD (USDT).
