Verge (XVG) is pushing mainstream adoption by working with multiple retailers to support the coin. PornHub, Brazzers, and Nutaku are some prominent partners, with Verge supporting around 120 vendors in total.
As revealed via multiple tweets, Crypto Planet and Bitnovo are the newest entities to support Verge, furthering the reach of the privacy token.

Launching in 2015, Bitnovo is a Spanish company working to streamline the purchasing of cryptocurrencies in Europe. To accomplish their mission, the group has ATMs spread through 20,000 stores in Italy and Spain that enable investors to purchase crypto via card. As of today’s partnership, users can now buy Verge alongside Bitcoin (BTC), DASH (DASH), Monero (XMR), and other coins.
Translated from Spanish, the tweet reads:
“We also have coupons redeemable #Bitnovo for purchase #Verge, available at establishments such as #Fnac #Eroski #Carrefour in #España e #Italia. An easy way to acquire #Verge $XVG.”
Crypto Planet has a similar goal in working for mainstream crypto adoption. The platform is an online storefront for buying everyday products with cryptocurrencies. Back on September 4th, it also made the Verge collaboration announcement via a tweet:
We would like to congratulate @vergecurrency for successfully integrating with our Online Store. 🥳🥳🥳

Pushing Into The Mainstream
Currently, the world is still working with VISA, debit, credit, or fiat currencies to make their purchases. However, while Bitcoin is seen as volatile and trackable, privacy tokens like Verge are more secure ways to make purchases with digital assets. As these coins break into the mainstream, we’re likely to see more of a widespread acceptance regarding cryptocurrencies.
Verge currently sits at number 40 regarding market cap. As of this writing, XVG is priced at $0.0132386 per coin, though it has been affected by the present bear market.
