Daniela Faustino is a passionate international business executive with a focus on building teams and organizational capacity. A proven track record as senior leadership team member in crafting a strategic vision, driving growth and implementing cost optimized programs across multiple geographies. She is driven to deliver business success and developing human potential.
Daniela joins the IOTA Foundation as Director of Human Resources based in Berlin. She brings with her 25 years of work experience started with ABB and later in greenfield operations, in Greater China and the South-East Asian Region. Daniela has spent 16 years in Hong Kong, pioneering the first Asian office of the Dutch Elka Pieterman Group, a supplier into the household appliance industry. After 13 successful years with ELKA, Daniela joined Neumann Partners and later Kelly Services. She then joined Kienbaum as Managing Director in Singapore, a German base HR Consulting and Executive Search company, where she was consulting organizations in the manufacturing, electronics, and life science industry on HR strategies, talent acquisition and development, assessment centres & leadership development centres, succession planning, strategic workforce planning, outsourcing solutions, setting up shared service centres, employer branding, change management and outplacement processes. In her latest role as Head of Human Resources Southeast Asia, Daniela was responsible for all FESTO HR strategy and operations in SEA with 420 people in 6 Countries (SG, MY, ID, VN, PH, TH). Her role was both strategic and hands-on to bring Festo SEA to the next level by introducing aligned Comp & Ben, Talent Acquisition & Development with new structures and policies.
Daniela is of German origin and is fluent also in Portuguese, English, French, Swiss German, Dutch and Mandarin and conversant in Spanish and Cantonese.
